PRP Treatments

PRP is prepared from a sample of your own blood, which is processed to concentrate platelets. Its use in aesthetic care requires an individual assessment. Evidence and outcomes for skin rejuvenation vary, and improvement cannot be promised.

  • Discussing skin-related concerns
  • Understanding how PRP differs from filler
  • Reviewing realistic expectations
  • Considering your suitability

A plan built
around you.

A treatment sounding natural does not automatically make it the right choice. Jenny starts with your concerns, relevant health history and previous treatments. She will discuss what PRP may offer, where the uncertainty lies and whether another approach would better address your priorities.

Your consultation.

Your consultation covers the proposed treatment area, process and potential course of visits. Ask what change would count as a meaningful result for you and how progress would be assessed. You should understand the plan and its cost before proceeding.

Time to settle.

Blood collection and treatment can cause temporary discomfort, bruising or swelling. Because the procedure involves handling blood and treating the skin, appropriate clinical technique and aftercare matter. Jenny will explain your individual recovery guidance.

A little clarity

Your questions,
considered.

Is PRP a dermal filler?

No. PRP and dermal fillers are different treatments. Do not expect the same effect or choose between them solely by name.

Does using my own blood mean there is no risk?

No. A procedure can still involve discomfort, bruising, infection risk and other complications. Your medical history must be reviewed.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on the proposed treatment, goals and response. Ask about the planned course and review points before committing.

Are results guaranteed?

No. Responses vary, and the evidence for aesthetic uses continues to develop. Jenny will discuss realistic expectations and alternative options.

Treatment suitability, benefits, risks and alternatives are discussed during consultation. Individual results vary. Contact the clinic for personalised advice.
